We went to church this morning with Richard and his family at St. Patricks in Kennett Square. The priest this morning was elderly and had a very slow delivery. He managed to pack a four minute sermon into eight minutes. Since everybody was looking nice we decided to have a go at family pictures when we got back to the house. That worked out very well. The boys were watching the blinking lights on the camera which held their attention. After some playing around we headed out to lunch at a Japanese place near by which was pretty good (Sake Hana).
Since Richard's birthday is next week and we won't be around for the boys' birthday in September, we decided to have a birthday party for all of them. Ginny found some cheesecakes at the store. Everybody likes cheesecake. We then went outside for playtime.
As if we were starving, we headed out for some TexMex for dinner. Ginny and I had eaten way too much so far and we decided to split an entree. I am glad we did. After the boys went to bed we spent some time talking to Richard then hit the sack. Tomorrow we have to be on the road early.
Today's photo is one of the family photos we got today. The T5i allows you to take a sequence of photos automatically. If you are using the onboard flash, it sets them at one second intervals to allow the flash to recharge. It kept the kids interested and also shot a bunch of frames to prevent closed eyes. Looks like the Christmas picture this year.
