This 5.0 Magnitude Nebula is a cloud of heated and ionized gas and dust in the constellation Cygnus.
Along with NGC 6979, 6992 and 6995; NGC 6960 is part of The Veil Nebula.
NGC 6960 is the bright narrow nebula in the central to lower right; the bright star seen close to its middle is 52 Cygni.
This nebula is also nicknamed Filamentary Nebula; Lace-work Nebula; or Finger of God Nebula.
