5-30-2017 Barred Owl on Pine Ridge

The crows led us to her. As always this was taken in very
dim light - note the ISO. So one has to ignore a bit of
'noise' to take their photo without flash.

Just love the view and the performance of the camera at the high ISO. I guess the Nikon shooters are accustomed to a bit more. This guy is a great specimen, and the image detail shows him off nicely.
