The new machine is quite fast, at least four times faster than my old MAC PRO(early 2009 4 Core model, 2.9GHz),
largely because C1 uses two GPUs(2.2 Tera Flops) too whereas old Mac Pro used only its CPUs(almost 95% full use,
new Mac uses ~45%) just for developing RAWs to .jpg files, I've never checked the other application cases though.
