Secret recipe: Buy a carton of vanilla ice cream that isn't too heavily vanilla flavored. Let it soften a little so you can mix it in an electric mixer - add 1 teaspoon at a time of matcha powder to it, stir and taste. Stop adding the matcha powder when you like the taste of your green tea ice cream. (We always order it in Japanese restaurants and I thought it might not hurt to give the matcha powder a try with the vanilla ice cream. Worked like a charm!)
