Merrythought micro Cheeky Beany Tanpopo teddy bear

One of Merrythought's endearing Cheeky teddy bears with trademark bells in ears.
Handmade in Shropshire England. Around 5-6 inches, fur is gold yellow mohair,
felt paw pads and suede muzzle. Has beans in tummy.

Tanpopo was released as a Limited edition of 350 pieces for Japan (year 2000)
Not marked as a limited edition, may have been a one off test sample or prototype.
Note: red stitching on foot suggests a Cheeky made for the Asian or Japan market
