We are still in the interior decorating phase of our project. Actually, it is Ginny's project. She decided to replace all the bedding in the three upstairs bedrooms. The old stuff was pretty well used and needed replacement. She has lots of ideas that get refined by telephone conversations with her friend Karen in New Orleans. She spent quite a while chatting with Karen. In the background you can see some of the stuff she has brought home in the last couple days. After this she went out to the mall and returned with a car load of bedroom stuff. Sheets, throw pillows, comforters, yada yada yada. Lots of stuff.

I helped her a little when she returned and she made up the three beds to have a look at her work in progress. What has ignited her efforts is the imminent arrival of cousins Ken and Debbie on Saturday. We are fixing up Robert's room as a guest bedroom. Ginny has very good taste and she wants to make a "strong statement" with her decorating. She also wants to consult with Debbie who is a gifted interior designer.

Ken, on the other hand, is a former Marine pilot and later worked in the defense industry. He doesn't care about comforters, throw pillows and the like. There will be beer in the fridge, a well stocked bar and two racks of ribs which will need attention in the cooker. Life is good.
