Dungeness Bay Rooster

Not crowing though but definitely making a statement at sunrise!
Young bald eagles lined up on pilings down by the old Oyster House
watching a dozen or so other eagles pick apart a fish on the beach.
Each seem to get a turn but some seemed to be taking more than others.
Kinda reminded me of dinnertime growing up at my folks house!

What a great catch - love how each one has its own pilon. Unusual to see so many young ones together, around here anyway. V

Your folks were eagles? JK. Don't see those around here. Nice catch.

Wonderful capture of the eagle finding his voice. So many of them! Seems their numbers are really growing in this area over the last few years.

well caught in full squawk...at least the one is speaking up, and perhaps all will have to up their game and be more aggressive just to survive...remarkable capture John..

For me this is a unusual sight. none where I grew up.
I suspect you got your share of food when you were growing up. If you were any taller, you and your hat wouldn't fit through a doorway.
