An unusual perspective

Looking up into the brand new firebox of a model steam boiler.
The fire door is on the left and the tubes are on the right.
The hex in the center is a fusible plug on the crown sheet (safety device).
The strap is for lifting the boiler (it weighs about 85 pounds).
