You're right Vern. I'm falling in love with Zorki 4 after my russian trip.
I've purchase several cameras (one each edition) and lenses from repairers in St Petersburg,Moscow area and Kiev. Then all around the world, all in first class conditions. I was courios to know how a simple camera can run from -30 celsius to +50,hit the ground,etc...without any problems (LOL!)
I fortunately found a Zorki 1 camera dated 1951 with original collassible lens, almost new, built in St Petersburg area, with some german post war material (east Germany). I'll take some pics soon with this stuff (a Jewel!)
Ciao Vern ;)

I had a Zorki like that several years ago. I actually liked it. It was somewhat similar to a M3 in a remote way. Great job with it here! V
