These little 5 inch button-up shoes are almost 100 years old.
They were my Dad's. So lucky that my Gram kept them and that my aunt gifted them to me.
I wonder if a button hook was used to fasten them??

You can only imagine the full picture. I remember my brother's page boy shoes were lying around mum's house for decades. I imagine they went eventually.

What a treasure those are, Terry....can you imagine any shoes, regardless of price lasting and looking so good these days, as I certainly can't. I wonder if your Dad wore a little sailor suit and boater hat as well. Thank you for sharing
