April Hunt Challenge 2017 #23 "a shoe/sandal/slipper"

These little 5 inch button-up shoes are almost 100 years old.
They were my Dad's. So lucky that my Gram kept them and that my aunt gifted them to me.
I wonder if a button hook was used to fasten them??
