It was a small wedding at 4 PM where Lyle Cholwell Bacon and Virginia Close took their vows.
There were only about 50 people there in this giant space, Stanford Memorial Church.
My parents and sister, Cyndy, came out from the East coast even though my Dad was in poor health.
Our friend, Peter Geogiev, walked me down the aisle since my Dad could not.
It meant a lot to him and my Mom that we were married here.
Lyle's Mom and sister and brother-in-law also came.
Our Maid of Honor was Nancy Buckman, a friend from Stanford.
Edward J. Ballard, Lyle's best friend, was our Best Man.
The rest of the guest were friends.
