A Tree

I had planned a palm leaf but then as we drove through muddied roads once the flood waters had gone down I saw the magnificent bones that create the structure of a giant Eucalyptus that has perhaps at some stage been struck by lightning, or stood once too often in murky flood waters and I liked it better.I will be travelling over the next few days which will slow my comments on your galleries down...I will catch up as often as I can.

Please take a look at others taking part in the April Challenge...your welcome to join in if your inclined.

I'm very fond of dead trees as subject matter. A very nice choice by you. Safe travels!

It's a great image but, to me, there is something sad about a tree that has lost its battle to live.

Wow...this is the first time ever i see a Eucalyptus without leaves or bark hanging...
I think you indeed made the right choice by choosing that particular one who looks different and like it is resisting the elements...somehow.
Be safe Laine!!
