25-MAR-2017 Dale R. Palmer

Week #4 - Alligator
by Dale R. Palmer

I've been hearing about alligators being around here for 50 years and finally saw my first one today. It was at a pond that I frequent often and was at the far end almost invisible because it was so far away. I got the word that it was there and went to find it and photograph it. Thankfully I had the reach of my Nikon P900.

Very cool, Dale, to finally see (and photograph) one in your area! Wonderful too that you could do so from such a distance!
