first time I have seen them in a group (other than artificial feeding points) and not sure why they seem whiter than usual; comment on what they are up to welcome - they dispersed in smaller flights, though I could not get anywhere near past the channels

My son who lives near Kendal in the Lake district,. Commented on seeing twenty four Herons in one field. I wonder if it's anything to do with Brexit :-) Ha Ha

Beautiful group of Grey Herons. Could it be that some of them are juveniles that they seem whiter? The left one looks quite normal to me.
