This is my first attempt at Deep Sky Astrophotography. Well, to be honest…NOT my first ATTEMPT…But the first time I was familiar enough with the equipment to get something useable to process and post.
This is BY FAR, the most challenging photography I have attempted (to date).
The camera and lens were mounted on a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer equatorial mount. It took three attempts to get anything; and the fourth time out was perfect in terms of polar alignment and tracking; and ultimately led to the image presented here.
