Took this shot thru the window as we were flying between Kabul and Islamabad. The mountains are rocky with no vegetation at this level. I'm ending the month of February with this shot. Was a very insightful, travel filled month and if I were to travel again to India, it would be okay with me. I was a little nervous flying over Afghanistan and Pakistan due to the increased tensions between them and India but I came through just fine.

I've never met more appreciative and wonderful people who don't complain even if they have very little, who welcome you with open arms and will do anything to make you happy. I really enjoyed my time there and have met people that touched my life that I will remain in contact with. One was my friend and "adopted" sister, Smita. This lady and I instantly became friends and it was like we had known each other our whole lives. I really miss her and wish she could travel to the states. I'd love to show her around my neck of the woods.
