Day 48 - Things continue to arrive at the house. Today, a big mirror was delivered by UPS. Step one is to open it up and see if there is any damage. Sure enough, there was damage. A cracked frame. Ginny called the company and they will send a new one out and have UPS collect the damaged one. That is pretty good service.
Good service is getting one to you undamaged. A huge amount of goods delivered her is damaged. A few years ago a neighbour ordered a fridge freezer from a large store with a good name. The fourth one delivered was undamaged. I went out to the delivery driver of the third one to check it before they took it to her house. Before I got to it he said you wont want this one it is damaged on the bottom edge. I said if you knew that why did you bring it here. He would not answer me. Check every tiny thing delivered to you.
