Schweizerhof (Swiss Court), the inner courtyard of the oldest part of the imperial palace.
Its name is derived from the Swiss guards who were hired in the eighteenth century to protect the monarchs.
Bordering Schweizerhof is Burgkapelle, a small chapel decorated in Baroque style (on the right). It is famous for the Wiener Sängerknaben (Vienna Boy Choir), who perform here on a regular basis.
