False Creek

swanky boats at an expensive location...False Creek provides safe harbour, yet easy access to the nearby ocean...the view is towards the east from Granville Island

to answer Vern's question...in 1859 British hydrographer Captain George Richards, while surveying the area, sailed here up what he first thought was a creek, realized it was actually an inlet, and declared that is was a 'false' creek

Very swanky. Some people have the life. Beautiful light shining on the boats. V

The people who own these are way above my income scale. I do have a 14' aluminum river fishing boat. You really captured some beautiful lighting and excellent detail in this harbor scene. The city is very beautiful in the background. V

I guess the owners can keep an eye on their boats from their "swanky" condos :)

Exceptional clarity in this winter scene. The entire scene looks very upscale to me.
