Christmas Cactus

Flowering in Schlumbergera is supposed to be triggered by cool nighttime temperatures and long dark nights. The only two flowers off this plant (six months old, from cuttings) came from the tips that were sitting directly against the window during winter in British Columbia. I believe the flowering instructions now.
