Yellow-Rumped Warbler
by Laura Milholland

Las Gallinas Wildlife Ponds, San Rafael, CA

The Yellow-rumped Warblers are here in good numbers right now and they love to land on the cattails.
For Rule of Thirds - the bird's head is in the upper left intersect point, with the lowest foot hitting the lower left point;
the tip of the background cattail comes close to hitting the upper right intersect as a counterpoint providing some balance.

Excellent capture of the Warbler. You managed to not only get the RoT, but a wonderful shot of wildlife.
