Moon with the Sigma 150 - 600

This picture of the moon really shows how sharp the new sigma 150-600 Contemporary is.
Anyone thinking of buying one of these long reaching lenses take a close look at all the crators in this picture.
Then consider this, this picture was taken HANDHELD at 600mm 1/800 f6.3 iso320 on a crop frame Canon 70D camera.

Very impressive clarity especially for it being at 600mm. . A lens well worth the cost and I know you will have a lot of fun with this lens. Considering this is the Contemporary model, why pay more for the other more expense Sigma model. An excellent capture and test for this lens. Very nice work!! VV
