This image shows the classic "Diamond Ring". Shot with a 300mm lens, and reproduced here at the normal scale showing the entire image, you can see it is still fairly small in the frame. I can even spot the planet Mercury on the original (uncompressed) image. This was photographed on the Costa Classica cruise ship while at sea northeast of Iwo Jima. Michael Zeiler's map puts totality at 6m 39.4s duration (July 2009 205.jpg)
