A Day At The Green is a series of events held at Bimbadgen winery in the Hunter Valley. Due to a heat wave in NSW driving temperatures up to 47C here, Jim Kerr said "We have never cancelled a concert before and to return to Scotland and say "It was tooo sunny ..." Too sunny ?? Jim quickly learnt that to perform with a coat & scarf on in 47C heat is not wise and a few wardrobe changes were required. Was hot, hot, hot !!!

A glittering array of International and Australian stars have performed during the past 14 years providing unforgettable musical memories. a day on the green is far more than a concert event, it is an “experience” and that is what sets it apart from other winery concerts.

Bummer, but DSLRs were banned, P&S only so the pocket sized F550 went instead of the trusty 7D2 & 70-200mm f2.8
