Day 28 - During all the hub bub of moving stuff around ginny noted that a photo on the refrigerator had become very weathered and was generally just falling apart. She asked me if I could scan it and fix it up. The reality was that it was really just too far gone. But I had a great idea. If I could find the original I could make a new print if she so desired. A quick search of my Lightroom database revealed that I did not have it. So, I went back to the source, my son Robert in Alpharetta. I sent an email asking if he had it and soon enough there was a return email with the desired file attached. I was very happy. I had always wondered how Robert was cataloging his photos (he and his wife take lots of photos) and I was gratified to learn that he was doing it in an effective manner.

The photo is dear to my heart. Over the years we have taken pictures of the boys when they headed off on their first day of school. Robert had his roommate take this one as he headed off on his first day of school as a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. That was 2006. Rob has a lot of cool ideas.
