It's a really good perspective; the shattered domesticity in the foreground leading out to probably (and in the case of the one on the right) definitely abandoned homes. The low down positioning of the starting point serves almost as an introduction to the stories beyond. The wide angle is also a good choice for this because the whole structure of the image seems to be going from the specific (the broken pottery and abandoned teddy) to the general (the wider issue of homelessness and dispossession).
