Jerry was a California dude that was banished to the East Coast due to an employment problem or something like that :). I think he was the first guy I knew that jumped without a helmet. Anyway, Jerry set up an 8 track deck, I think, in the Cessna 206 and from that day forward we listened to Beach Boys (and only Beach Boys) blasted over the drone of the engine on every climb to altitude in that plane. Given the 5 of us here about to board, we would have been jumping the 206 and I can still hear Beach Boys :)
