Max going solo

Best viewed at original size.

Last November we had to say goodbye to our sweet Becky.
She had a good long life, but when she began her 16th
year things were getting hard for her.

Max was down in the dumps for a couple of weeks, but he
bounced back and has adjusted to his life as the only
dog in the house. At 14.5 he is still going strong
and is as naughty as ever.

We all miss you Becky.

I am way behind the times. So sorry about the loss of Becky. Sixteen is a great long life but it is still so hard to say goodbye. I hope this comment still finds Max healthy and doing well.

It is sad to loose a dog friend. I hope Max keeps you going.

If a dog has lived his life and a proud age of 16 years, we know the time has come. But however the pain of loss is almost unbearable…
How great there is your wonderful Max to deal with this loss.
He is a handsome guy and you present him wonderfully, Don!

Great shot of Max enjoying the outdoors. It is so hard to loose a canine companion, they really are like family. V

I was sorry to read that; sorry for Max as well, since he probably still misses his friend even though dogs are adaptable. He certainly seems to be bouncing along here, long may his health remain.

So sorry to hear about Becky. It took us a long time to get over losing Ringo and he was anything but sweet. All the best from the both of us here. V

I'm truly sorry to hear about your loss. It is a painful time when we lose a canine member of the family. At least you still have handsome Max and it is good to know he is still going strong.

They always leave a mark in our lives, and steal a place in our hearts. And remain unforgettable. Glad that Max has adjusted. King of the island now. V
