Day 18 - We had an interesting day. In the morning we went to Best Buy where we had been looking at kitchen appliances. After a couple months of consternation, we finally decided on what we wanted. It took a while at the store, but we finally bought the refrigerator, double oven, stove top, vent hood and drawer type microwave that will end up in the renovated kitchen. Now that they are paid for, they will sit in their warehouse until we call for them. It was a relief to get all that completed. One more thing to take off the consternation list.

I did realize something very important today. This renovation project can only have one manager. That person would be Ginny. There is no better person in the world to deal with all the things that need to happen. She is very thorough. Nothing escapes her attention. She has tons of energy. And she has a clear vision of what she expects the result to look like. It the end she will have a first rate project which she can show off to her friends. That is very cool. In the mean time, I will do as told.
