Adolph Hoepfl Classic Car Show

Garden Oaks, Houston, Texas

I drove into Houston this morning. My first car show of 2017.
It was cold and cloudy and windy, but a nice time for all.
This is a nice 58 Ford Fairlane 500
After the show, I went to lunch with one of my dear girlfriends for many years.

Hmm, interesting; I thought that Fairlane like Falcon was only an Australian incarnation of Ford. Of course neither are now. Well, the Falcon is still around sort of but Ford has long since pulled out of the then-Fairlane market, which was actually a larger luxury car here rather than a two-doorer with ample fins. Someone put in a lot of time and effort on restoring this one; it's immaculate.
