I was not sure which gallery to add this to so I decided since it was a total manipulation, this was the appropriate gallery for now. This is an oil painting I finished this week after three months of work. It is 56" wide and painted as a gallery wrap around image. My oldest son wanted an image from the Smoky Mountains to hang in the house he and his wife just moved into. It has been about five years since I last painted because I spend most of my time with photography. This was a fun change of pace and approach. This painting was based on one of my son's images he captured in the Smokies using some artistic license.
