One of the target birds that I have sometimes found challenging to find in the past was the Arizona Woodpecker. It was quite a surprise when this pretty male flew in right above us while we were eating lunch. It was really tough not to smash my sandwich into my lens while trying to get this shot. It is always good to have the camera handy.
