2017 Weather Channel Photo Contest Finalist

This image made the finals of the 2017 Weather Channel Photo Contest. Out of 52,000 plus submitted images only 49 images were finalists. My submission was the only true abstract/macro in the finals.

We received more than 52,000 submissions in our 2017 It's Amazing Out There Photo Contest. Both professional and amateur photographers alike entered their best weather, nature and adventure photos for a chance to win the $15,000 grand prize.

We narrowed down the submissions to 49 finalists, and from there, a panel of star judges selected our three winners.
