Frozen Leaf

We had two days of freezing weather, not entirely uncommon... but not typical either.
Two nights of 23F is not good for the citrus, flowers and tropicals in my back yard.
Hoping nothing was killed off, but I won't know for sure until a couple weeks pass.
This leaf belongs to my neighbor's Bird of Paradise.

That is very cold. Plants are tough though. Great detail. V

I like the fringing around it. Plants are pretty resilient, thankfully.
I'd send you a few degrees if I could. We're set for another week of low 30's (call it 90'sF) temperatures this week.

Ouch...that hurts when it only happens occasionally, yet once is sometimes enough :( Hope all is good with your garden Lynn

A frozen leaf doesn't seem like something one would normally see on a Bird of Paradise, but you've captured it well. I hope everything survives. V.
