Saint Bernard of Clairvaux (Latin: Bernardus Claraevallensis), O.Cist (1090 – 20 August 1153) was a French abbot and the primary reformer of the Cistercian order.
This statue is located in Heiligenkreuzerhof Court - a complex of Medieval buildings in Vienna's old university district, with a small chapel of St. Bernard nearby (Bernardiskapelle).
