1825 - Carolina Parakeet

The earliest reference to these parrots was in 1583 in Florida,
but the species was declared extinct in 1939.

Shame they have all gone, Passenger Pigeon, Ivory-billed Woodpecker, Carolina Duck, Bachman's Warbler too. Of course we here in Europe have lost a few of our species too and more soon to follow.
