This was not the shot I had in mind when I set out to photograph the sunset over Bennachie this afternoon. I was concentrating on the mountain when I noticed the scene to my left with the mist lapping over the land like an incoming tide. I turned the camera and shot two quick images of this, then busying myself with Bennachie again. I'm not that excited about the Bennachie shots, but the muted tones and pastel colours of this shot make it a keeper for me!
