Christmas in Carlingford

I find this image really interesting. The sodium lights are of course emitting a light which is of course extremely warm in tone. But the image still has a very chilly feeling to it. Of course the two figures are very well rugged up which helps to counterbalance the light, but I think most of it is just the cultural awareness of "Northern hemisphere; cold winter Christmas". But had I just arrived here from another planet I may well have been seeing the "feel" of the shot very differently.
