Doggy Diner Head
by Laura Milholland

San Francisco, CA

Doggy Diner was a fast food chain that operated from 1948 to 1986, in the San Francisco Bay area.
It was known by its 7-foot tall Doggy Heads.
This head was placed in the divide of a busy street near the zoo by the city of San Francisco
and is now a city historic landmark, and reminder of the now defunct food chain.

This is so cute! I've never seen anything like this before. And I like that the background is completely white, so it doesn't distract from the Doggy Diner Head.

Cool shot and history. This doggy head really pops against the sky. Nicely photographed. This is a city landmark to San Francisco like the Western Auto sign is to Kansas City.

So how was the food???
