Hammond's Flycatcher - Empidonax hammondii

Middlesex Fells, Ma.

Hammond's Flycatchers are supposed to just occur west of the Rockies, but sometimes they take a wrong turn during migration and show up in unexpected places like this one. I was able to get out to look for the bird on its fourth day being around and got great views.
