Castell d´en Plaja
This building, situated at the end of the Sa Caleta beach, is in fact a house-castle built by the Girona industrialist, Narcís Plaja. The project, dating from 1935, was the work of the Girona architect, Isidor Bosch. Construction work, though, was not completed until the 1940s, once the Civil War had finished. These buildings, with a square floor plan and a gable roof, are decorated with frieze style ceramics, wrought iron and floral paintwork. They have rendered and painted masonry and roofs covered in glazed tiles. A noteworthy feature of the house on the right hand side of the path, which is in a better state of repair, is the original entrance arch. IT'S A PRIVATE RESIDENCE
