Skagit County, Washington

Autumn Mountain Stream

I found this quaint little stream in the wilderness of east Skagit county, nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains of Washington state. The smoothness of the water flowing over the fallen log really caught my attention.

A very soothing and peaceful image. The Autumn palette gives warmth. You have shown movement in the water by the slow shutter speed. Nicely composed too.

A pleasing micro landscape. WE watched a program by Ben Fogle last night about a lady living a simple life using stone age tools out in the Cascade Mts
