Colonial Virginia Capitol Building

Williamsburg, Virginia

Williamsburg became the colonial capitol of Virginia in 1699; replacing Jamestown that had been the capitol since 1607.
The capitol of Virginia was moved from Jamestown to Williamsburg as one of America's first planned cities. We did a one-day walking tour with friends on 3 Oct 2016.
