Red-eyed Vireo

Warrenton, Virginia

Several of these 'often-heard' 'seldom-seen' vireos have become somewhat oblivious to my presence allowing me to have a closer look at their day-to-day activities.
This one is hawking insects only four feet off the ground in a Black Willow tree that separates two of our small fields.
I like his/her blue legs! Best viewed in 'original' size.
