We have made sort of a tradition of going to Disney on 9/11 to try to dispel some of the monsters that creep up on that day.
This year it was Epcot. For anyone who hasn't been there, this "golf ball" is called Spaceship Earth.
Spaceship Earth is THE icon for Epcot - the first thing you see when you enter and the last thing you see before you leave.
There is a ride inside that tells the history of communication - not a bad ride, but I can almost recite it by heart.
I took this picture as we were leaving because I loved the blue sky, the white clouds (yes, they are blown out) and the flag at half-mast.
No, the flagpole doesn't lean, but I couldn't seem to straighten it. Besides, I like the tilting flagpole - it reminds me of the flag raised by the firefighters at the WTC on 9/11.
