Good depth of field in this bird portrait; it's sharp from the tip of the beak to the feathers on the top of its head.
I'm wondering whether it might have been better to have lightened this image slightly.
While there's a bit of a catch light in the eyes, it would be nicer if there was more light on them. Overall the image does seem just a bit dark.
