Lübeck Sacred Heart Church, Lübeck
The first Roman Catholic Church Lübeck the Sacred Heart Church was rebuilt after the Reformation and dedicated 1891.Many Sacred Heart churches were built at the same time in Germany and in Europe, for example, Sacre Coeur in Paris and Jesus Hjerte Kirke in Copenhagen. The name of the Sacred Heart should reflect the religious situation of the time of origin and is an expression of the center of the person of Jesus.Since 1955, located in the crypt of the church a memorial to the martyrs of Lübeck. These were three-day at the Sacred Heart Church chaplains and a Lutheran pastor, which were all jointly executed in 1943.
