We were joined for three days in Moab by Ginny's cousins Daniel and Jacquelin from Belgium. They are on a month long motoring tour of the United States. They wanted to drive to Houston to visit, but we said we will drive to Moab and see them. Ours was the better choice. We gave them a tour of all the hot spots in Arches National Park today. One of the nice hikes is in the Devil's Garden which takes you to Landscape Arch, the longest in the world (306 feet). It is good to do in the early morning because it gets very crowded there by late morning. We had plenty of time to set up and get some group photos without being bothered by others.
We also went to La Sal Mountains Viewpoint for sunrise, hiked down Park Avenue and made the hike up to Delicate Arch during our day there. We also made a few other stops to see various arches. Dave is very familiar with all these places. The weather was fine. It is most often fine out here. Rain is a rarity.
