While we were hiking this past weekend in the Berkshires we encountered this spiky fella.
Actually it was Tug who discovered him and alerted us by barking up a storm.
Of course Della came running and the two of them were dancing around the poor guy
while my husband and I were trying to make sure they they didn't get hurt.
The porcupine just kind of waddled over to a tree and climbed way up high.
All's well that ends well.
